I have just got a spare moment as I await my Chinese takeout until I get back to my neck in home renovations. This is not how I expected moving away from my institution to go. I trust that once our new (to us) house is put back together, I can begin unpacking the myriad boxes of books I brought with me and get back to what is, for me, the most important work. That being said, a small part of my brain enjoys the mindlessness that comes with ripping out an interior wall with steel implements. It’s a part of me that doesn’t get worked out a lot. Perhaps it will help my work once I am able to get back to it.

Thanks for sticking around while the blog is on its summer schedule. I expect to be back to normal by August. You’ll know when it happens. I’ll probably just tell you.
